Senior Real Estate & Construction Accountant / Bookkeeper

We are a growing U.S.-based real estate development, construction, and investment company looking for an exceptional Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper based in the Philippines.

This is NOT an entry-level position.

We own and operate apartment properties and develop new residential construction projects. Our accounting involves multiple LLCs, construction projects, investors, loans, subcontractors, credit cards, and bank accounts.

We need an experienced professional who can take ownership of the accounting function, not someone who simply enters transactions.

What You'll Handle:

• Accounting for multiple LLCs and properties
• Construction job costing and WIP
• Tracking costs by project, property, vendor, and category
• Accounts payable and subcontractor payments
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Construction and real estate loan accounting
• Intercompany loans and transfers
• Owner/investor contributions and distributions
• Rental property income and expenses
• Monthly financial statements
• Budget vs. actual and project cost reporting
• Identifying duplicate payments, errors, and incorrect classifications

Who We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
• 3+ years working with U.S. companies
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience
• Significant real estate accounting experience
• Significant construction/job-cost accounting experience
• Experience managing multiple entities simultaneously
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and balance sheets
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Excellent English communication

CPA credentials are helpful but not required. Proven real-world experience is more important.

Experience with ---------- , ---------- , GCPay, Procore, Buildertrend, AppFolio, or similar platforms is a plus.

The Person We Want:

We want someone who thinks like an accountant/controller, not a data-entry bookkeeper.

If an account doesn't reconcile, you investigate it. If an invoice looks like a duplicate, you flag it. If a project is over budget, you tell us. If something doesn't make sense, you figure out why.

We are not looking for the cheapest bookkeeper. We are looking for a highly experienced, dependable accounting professional who can become a key member of our company for years to come.
