Social Media Content Creator

Critter Sitter of VA is looking for a creative, reliable Social Media Content Creator to help us consistently produce polished, professional content for our social media channels.

We are an established professional pet care company serving Fredericksburg and surrounding areas. Our brand focuses on trust, reliability, professionalism, and high-quality pet care.

What You’ll Do

• Create branded social media graphics and posts
• Write engaging captions that match our brand voice
• Create Instagram and Facebook posts, carousels, Stories, and simple Reels
• Repurpose existing photos, videos, blogs, promotions, and educational content
• Maintain consistent branding, fonts, colors, and messaging
• Schedule approved content
• Help maintain a consistent posting calendar
• Create content around services, client education, pet care tips, team highlights, promotions, hiring, and seasonal topics

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Canva skills
• Excellent written English
• Experience creating content for small businesses
• Good eye for clean, professional design
• Ability to follow established brand guidelines
• Reliable communication and turnaround times
• Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions
• Ability to work independently once direction is provided

Experience with pet businesses, local service businesses, Instagram, Facebook , Canva, and short-form video is a plus.

Important

This is primarily a content creation role, not a full social media strategy or paid advertising position.

We already have an established business, brand, services, photos, and plenty of content ideas. We need someone who can take that information and consistently turn it into professional, engaging social media content.
