About the Role

I am seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant with knowledge or experience in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) to provide ongoing support with speech therapy–related tasks.

This is not a general administrative VA position. The ideal candidate should already be familiar with speech and language therapy terminology, treatment techniques, goals, and documentation and be comfortable working with information related to school-age speech and language services.

Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with speech and language session planning
Developing therapy activities and materials based on specific student goals
Assisting with session notes/progress documentation
Helping organize and prepare information for speech-language reports
Reviewing therapy data and helping summarize student progress
Creating activities targeting areas such as articulation, receptive/expressive language, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, following directions, social communication, and related skills
Organizing student goals, therapy plans, and documentation
Researching appropriate therapy activities and resources
Other speech therapy–related administrative and clinical support tasks as assigned

Ideal Candidate:

Has a background in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech Therapy, Special Education, or a closely related field
Understands common SLP terminology and treatment approaches
Can read a speech/language goal and develop appropriate activities to address it
Has strong written English skills
Is organized, dependable, and able to follow detailed instructions
Is comfortable using Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other online tools
Understands the importance of confidentiality when working with student information
Can work independently and communicate when clarification is needed

Experience as an SLP, SLPA, speech therapy assistant, CSD/SLP student or graduate, special education professional, or someone who has previously supported an SLP would be especially valuable.
