About the Role

PLEASE FULLY READ THE JOB DESCRIPTION AND ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE ALL OF THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE. IN YOUR APPLICATION INCLUDE A PORTFOLIO LINK WHICH DEMONSTRATES EVERYTHING REQUIRED.

This role is working for a UK based wedding management company. As the business continues to grow, the founder is looking for a switched-on, creative Digital Marketing and CRM Assistant to bring her brand to life online and keep the engine room of the business running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a part-time, ongoing role at 10 hours per week, spanning social media, Pinterest, blogging, and CRM management - perfect for someone who loves variety and takes real pride and ownership in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media

  • Bring the content plan to life by writing engaging, on-brand captions that sound like the client and speak directly to couples planning their big day.
  • Schedule all Instagram content via Meta Business Suite, keeping a consistent and reliable posting rhythm.
  • Create eye-catching carousel post and 1 static post every week, designed beautifully in Canva to reflect the brand's style and tone.
  • Repurpose the best-performing content for TikTok, adapting the format and captions to suit the platform.

Keep a close eye on performance data, pulling out the key trends and using them to shape and recommend an evolving content strategy.

Pinterest

  • Build out a thoughtful, strategic Pinterest presence - creating fresh pins, writing captions that are optimised to be found, and linking back to the website.
  • Grow organic traffic to the website over time by making Pinterest a genuine, ongoing source of new visitors and enquiries.

Blogs

  • Research and write a minimum of one SEO-optimised blog post per week, weaving in the searchable terms couples are actually typing into Google.
  • Take direction from the business owner on subject matter, turning her ideas and expertise into polished, publish-ready content.
  • Upload and format each post directly on the website in WordPress, ready to go live.

Systems and CRM

  • Get hands-on with 17hats, building and refining workflows that save the business owner time and keep every enquiry, booking, and client journey running like clockwork.
  • Continuously look for ways to optimise how the CRM is used, making sure it's working as hard as possible for the business.

Essential Experience (ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE EVIDENCE OF THIS EXPERIENCE)

  • Proven experience creating and scheduling social media content
  • Confident, hands-on experience using Canva
  • Experience using Pinterest for business, including strategic pinning and captions
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practice for blog content
  • Experience working within a CRM system and building/optimising workflows
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable and able to commit to consistent weekly hours

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using 17hats specifically (not essential, as training can be provided)
  • Experience within the wedding or events industry

Longer term, there is an opportunity to help build an email list, potentially using Flodesk, and to set up and send weekly email s - experience of this would be a bonus
