E-Commerce Bookkeeper (Shopify Experience Required)

We are a fast-growing e-commerce footwear and apparel brand currently generating approximately $300,000 USD in monthly revenue

We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Bookkeeper to take ownership of our day-to-day bookkeeping and keep our financial records accurate and organized.

This will start as a part-time position (approximately 15–20 hours per week) with the opportunity to grow into a larger role.

Responsibilities

• Review and categorize all bank and credit card transactions
• Properly separate business and personal/non-business expenses
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
• Reconcile Shopify payouts, refunds, chargebacks, and payment processing fees
• Track supplier and manufacturing payments
• Properly track inventory and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
• Maintain clean and accurate books in QuickBooks Online or Xero
• Provide a clear monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statement
• Provide an accurate monthly Balance Sheet
• Flag unclear, unusual, or duplicate transactions instead of guessing
• Keep our books organized and ready for our CPA/accountant

Requirements

• Strong bookkeeping experience
• Shopify/e-commerce bookkeeping experience is required
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero
• Experience managing books for a $1M+ annual revenue e-commerce business is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of inventory and COGS
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable and responsive communication
• Strong written English
