The Dashboards and Analytics Analyst supports the business's day-to-day reporting needs, building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations that give Operations, Finance and Clinic Support teams reliable, accurate and easy-to-use insight into business performance.

This is a hands-on, BAU-focused role within a modern Azure-based data environment. The successful candidate will maintain and enhance the existing suite of Power BI dashboards, respond to reporting requests, and requires skills in DAX, Power Query and data modelling under the guidance of the Data Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Development & Maintenance

• Build, update and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, including standard DAX measures and calculations
• Perform continuous improvement and issue resolution on the current suite of dashboards, including documentation and bug fixes.
• Use Power Query and M-code for data preparation, transformation and automation of recurring reporting tasks.
• Work with data sourced from the Azure data warehouse, Microsoft Fabric to deliver reporting solutions.
• Partner with the Data Engineering team to understand data structures and escalate data quality issues promptly.

BAU Support & Governance

• Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including data validation and reconciliations.
• Provide timely troubleshooting and production support for existing dashboards.
• Maintain clear documentation of report definitions, calculations and known issues.

Experience — Essential

• 5+ years' experience building Power BI reports, dashboards and visualisations, either in a dedicated BI role or as part of a broader analytics/finance/operations function.
• Working knowledge of DAX for standard measures and calculations.
• Experience with Power Query/M-code for data preparation and transformation.
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills, or a strong willingness to develop them.
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to data validation and reconciliation.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain reporting issues or limitations to non-technical stakeholders.
