AUSTRALIAN INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT – REMOTE
Full-Time | Remote | Immediate Start | Minimum 40 Hours per Week
Long-Term Position | Approx. AUD $15 per hour

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and honest Intermediate Accountant who is seeking a stable, long-term position and would like to grow with our team.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered, you must have:

  • Minimum 3 years' recent Australian public accounting practice experience
  • Experience preparing BAS, financial statements and Australian income tax returns
  • Experience with individuals, companies and trusts
  • Strong Excel, bookkeeping and reconciliation skills
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Ability to work accurately and independently
  • Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week on an ongoing basis
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home-office setup, preferably with two monitors

Key Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping and account reconciliations
  • Preparation and review of BAS
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Preparation of Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts
  • Reviewing client accounting records and identifying discrepancies
  • Assisting senior accountants and the Principal with compliance and ad hoc accounting tasks

9. What is your expected hourly rate in AUD?
10. Are you willing to complete a paid technical assessment before commencement?
11. Do you have a reliable home-office setup with two screens and stable internet?

Remuneration & Working Arrangement

  • Estimated hourly rate: AUD $15 per hour, depending on experience and technical ability
  • Full-time remote position

Remuneration will be based on your Australian public practice experience, technical knowledge, accuracy, ability to work independently and performance in the technical assessment.
