POSITION SUMMARY: HIGH LEVEL EDITOR.
We are seeking a highly organised and creative Video Editor & Content Producer to produce high-quality teaching videos and transform long-form content into engaging social media assets.
This is a long-term position for someone who enjoys storytelling, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Long-Form Editing
Edit 60–90 minute teaching videos
Remove mistakes, pauses and distractions
Improve pacing and viewer engagement
Balance audio and enhance clarity
Basic colour correction
Add lower thirds, titles and scripture references
Insert graphics, slides and transitions where appropriate
Export high-quality master files

CONTENT REPURPOSING:
From each teaching, create:

• YouTube Shorts
• Facebook Reels
• Instagram Reels
• TikTok videos
• Short promotional clips
• Highlight moments
• Social media teasers

GRAPHICS:
Create:

• Professional YouTube thumbnails
• Basic promotional graphics
• Quote graphics (advantageous)

MEDIA MANAGEMENT:

• Organise project files
• Maintain folder structures
• Archive completed projects
• Follow naming conventions
• Work with Final Cut Pro and/or PowerDirector project files
• (We DON'T use DaVinci & other Blackmagic company products)

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience editing long-form YouTube videos
• Strong storytelling ability
• Excellent pacing and attention to detail
• Professional audio editing skills
• Good colour correction skills
• Experience creating YouTube Shorts and Reels
• Excellent English comprehension
• Reliable high-speed internet
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with one or more:
• Final Cut Pro
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• CapCut Professional

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
Each week you will typically produce:

• 2–3 professionally edited long-form teaching videos
• Multiple Shorts and Reels from each teaching
• Professional YouTube thumbnails
• Social media promotional clips
• Organised project files ready for archiving

COMPENSATION

• CAD $550–700 per month (Approximately Phill 31,500–40,000 per month)
• Three-month probation
• Performance review after probation with salary increases based on:
• Quality of work
• Turnaround time
• Reliability
• Initiative
• Consistency
• Immediate start
