Short-Form Video Editor – Long-Term Opportunity

I'm looking for a video editor who can help me edit short-form content for TikTok and other social media platforms.

I already have an established editing style, so I'm not looking for someone to completely reinvent my videos.

The first goal is to learn my current editing style and reproduce it consistently.

I will provide:

• Raw footage
• Reference videos
• Editing examples
• Feedback and direction

You will be responsible for:

• Cutting and pacing
• Captions/subtitles
• Zooms and transitions when appropriate
• Music and sound effects
• B-roll when needed
• Basic visual elements
• Creating a clean, engaging final short-form video

Paid Test

Before starting a long-term contract, I would like to do a small paid test.

I will provide the same raw footage and several examples of my existing videos.

The goal is not to create the fanciest edit.

The goal is to show me that you can understand and reproduce my editing style.

If the test goes well, we will start working together on a per-video basis.

First Month

During the first month, I would like to test our workflow with approximately 12–20 short-form videos.

Payment will initially be per completed video.

Each video includes up to 2 reasonable revision rounds.

During this period, I will evaluate:

• Editing quality
• Understanding of my style
• Pacing and storytelling
• Subtitle accuracy
• Attention to detail
• Turnaround time
• Communication
• Ability to learn from feedback

Long-Term Opportunity

If we work well together, I would like to move away from constantly negotiating individual videos and build a long-term monthly agreement.

The goal is to eventually have an editor who understands my content so well that I can simply send the raw footage and receive a publish-ready video.

As the channel and workload grow, compensation can grow as well.

I'm looking for someone who wants a stable, long-term working relationship—not just a few freelance projects.
