JasperReports / Oracle PL/SQL Developer

We are seeking an experienced JasperReports / Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, test, and support reporting applications and database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with JasperReports development, Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, unit testing, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain JasperReports and reporting solutions.
Develop and support complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, including queries, procedures, functions, packages, and related database objects.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective reporting and database solutions.
Perform unit testing, troubleshoot defects, and resolve production issues.
Support application enhancements, maintenance, and ongoing production activities.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
Perform code reviews and follow established development and quality standards.
Document technical solutions, development activities, and testing results.
Use development and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Bitbucket as required.
Monitor application/report performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience with JasperReports development.
8+ years of experience with unit testing and software application support.
8+ years of experience working in Agile development environments.
5+ years of experience designing, coding, and supporting applications using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Strong understanding of database development and reporting concepts.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with JIRA.
Experience with Bitbucket and source-code management practices.
Experience working in enterprise application development environments.
Experience with report optimization and performance tuning.
