About the Role

I record weekly Google Meet conversations (podcast-style, two people talking) and need an editor to turn each recording into a batch of short vertical clips for Instagram.

What I need per session:

  • Watch the full recording (typically 30–60 min)
  • Identify every viable standalone monologue or point made by either speaker (a complete thought, story, or take that works on its own)
  • Cut each one into its own clip with clean start/end points and a few seconds of lead-in for context
  • Reframe each clip to vertical (9:16) — speaker should be centered/well-framed
  • Basic audio cleanup (consistent levels, remove dead air if needed)
  • No captions needed
  • Deliver clips in a shared folder (Google Drive or Dropbox) labeled clearly (e.g., "Speaker1_Clip1_Topic.mp4")

What I'm NOT looking for: motion graphics, intro/outro branding, music, or heavy editing — just clean clip extraction and reframing.

Volume: One ~30-60 min recording per week to start, likely producing 8-15 clips per session depending on how much good material there is.

Turnaround: 48-72 hours from when I send the raw file.

To apply, please include:

  • A link to 2-3 examples of similar podcast/interview clipping work you've done
  • Your rate - per video/session flat rate preferred, but open to hourly
  • How you typically turn around a 30-60 min recording
