Virtual Assistant: Detail-Oriented and Social Media Video Editor

I am looking for a detail-oriented virtual assistant who understands English well (speaks, writes, and reads), follows instructions carefully, and can do basic social media video editing with effects.

This role is part-time (minimum 15 hours/week) and fully remote. You need to already have the tools, including CapCut Pro or other editing software and you must be able to follow directions without repeated explanations.

What You’ll Do:

• Edit short-form videos for social media using CapCut or other editing tool (effects, transitions, timing) for daily posts
• Follow step-by-step instructions from written messages
• Help with light LinkedIn company posts (2 posts per week)
• Organize simple tasks and updates clearly

IMPORTANT – SKILL TEST (REQUIRED TO APPLY):
To apply, you must complete the test task below. This is required and intentional.

Task 1:

• Choose one video from a content creator who demonstrates visual effects (I personally like this one but if you find another one, that works too: ---------- /tylertometich/reels/)
• Recreate the same effect as closely as possible
• You can be on the video yourself or you can use any object, person, or idea

Task 2:

• Create a second version using the same effect but with your own creativity
• Example ideas: promote a flower, an object, a simple concept, or anything appropriate

Video length: 15 seconds to 30 secs max
DELIVERABLES:
1- Share the link you choose to recreate from the content creator
2- Submit a link to the 2 videos you created (Google Drive, Dropbox, LinkShare, etc.). Do not submit only a resume — the task is what matters most

• I will review submissions within 24 hours
