Kitchen Commercial Designer Drafter

Job description:

Responsibilities:

*Create and manage commercial kitchen designs and drawings in Revit.
*Ensure plans comply with U.S. building codes, ADA requirements, health regulations, and local ordinances.
*Coordinate MEP systems within architectural and structural designs.
*Translate project specs into complete, compliant construction documents.
*Present plans to clients and explain layouts and technical details clearly.
*Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and consultants.
*Revise drawings based on feedback, code updates, or MEP changes.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
*Strong Revit proficiency required.
*Proven experience in commercial kitchen design/drafting.
*Solid understanding of MEP systems and their integration into commercial designs.
*Working knowledge of U.S. building codes, ADA requirements, and health department regulations.
*Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
*Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
*Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
