Roof and Floor Truss Designer - Full Time Remote

We are looking for an experienced Roof and Floor Truss Designer for a full-time remote position working standard U.S. business hours or part of the day.

The ideal candidate should have 3-5+ years of experience designing roof and floor trusses for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects. Experience with Simpson Strong-Tie Truss Software is preferred, but not required. We can provide training on Simpson software for the right candidate.

Candidates must have experience using one of the leading truss design software platforms, such as MiTek, Alpine, or similar. You should be able to read architectural and structural plans, design roof and floor truss layouts, make revisions when needed, and work accurately with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Design roof and floor trusses for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects
• Review architectural and structural plans
• Prepare truss layouts and related design work
• Make revisions based on project requirements
• Coordinate with the internal team as needed
• Maintain accuracy and meet deadlines
• Work during standard U.S. business hours

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience designing roof and floor trusses
• Experience with MiTek, Alpine, Simpson Strong-Tie, or similar truss design software
• Strong understanding of roof and floor truss systems
• Ability to read and understand construction plans
• Experience with residential, multi-family, and commercial projects
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Must be available full-time during U.S. business hours, or at least part of those hours

Preferred:

• Experience with Simpson Strong-Tie Truss Software
• Experience working remotely with U.S.-based companies
• Ability to handle multiple projects and revisions
