Architectural Content & Community Coordinator – Residential Layout Design

We are looking for a proactive Architecture Graduate / Junior Architect to help grow and manage a new global online community focused on residential layouts, renovations, property uplift and floor-plan improvement.

This is not a traditional drafting-only role and not a generic social media VA role.

You will combine your architectural knowledge with content creation, social media, AI tools and community management.

The project includes two Skool communities:

• Residential Layout & Renovation Free
• Residential Layout & Renovation Pro

Our goal is to grow an international audience of renovators, property flippers, investors, small builders, homeowners and junior designers, then convert engaged free members into paid Pro members.

Main Responsibilities

Architectural Content

• Review residential floor plans and identify common layout problems
• Develop simple before-and-after layout concepts
• Create content around circulation, room flow, furniture planning, zoning and renovation uplift
• Create floor-plan case studies and educational examples
• Prepare short layout explanations and practical design tips
• Escalate complex architectural or technical design questions for senior review

Social Media & Content Creation

• Create Instagram and Facebook posts, carousels and short-form videos
• Create simple AI-assisted educational videos using floor plans, arrows, highlights and voiceovers
• Use tools such as Canva, CapCut, ChatGPT and similar AI tools
• Repurpose one architectural idea into multiple content formats
• Create engaging hooks such as:
• “What’s wrong with this floor plan?”
• “Can this 3-bed become a 4-bed?”
• “Spot the wasted space”
• Before vs After layout transformations

Skool Community Management

• Upload and organise content in both Free and Pro communities
• Welcome new members
• Reply to general questions and comments
• Encourage engagement and discussions
• Manage layout challenges and member submissions
• Promote Free ? Pro upgrades
• Maintain the resource and layout libraries

Growth & Outreach

• Engage with relevant Instagram and Facebook audiences
• Participate helpfully in renovation, property-flipping, investing and home-improvement communities
• Invite suitable users into the free community
• Track which content attracts members and converts them to Pro
• Provide a simple weekly performance report

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• is an Architecture Graduate or Junior Architect
• has around 1–3 years of architecture/residential design experience
• has good residential layout and space-planning skills
• understands floor plans and renovation concepts
• has strong written English
• is proactive and can work independently
• enjoys content creation and social media
• is confident using Canva
• can create/edit short-form video content using CapCut or similar
• is comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT
• can manage tasks and deadlines without constant supervision
• is creative and interested in growing an online design community

Experience with Skool is helpful but not essential.

Revit expertise is not required. Good design thinking, communication and content skills are more important.

Working Style

You will be expected to manage most routine content and community work independently.

Senior architectural input will be available when:

• a layout is particularly complex
• structural implications may exist
• technical/code issues arise
• you are unsure about the best design solution

We want someone who can take initiative rather than waiting for instructions for every task.

Initial Trial

This will begin as a 2-month trial project.

If the project gains traction and the collaboration works well, there is potential for ongoing work and increased responsibility.
