Contact Researcher – Remote

ArtistConnect is looking for reliable Contact Researchers who can commit at least 20 hours per week.

The job is fully remote and you can organize your working hours flexibly. However, 20 hours per week is a hard minimum. We are specifically looking for people who want to work consistently rather than occasionally completing a few tasks.

What you will do

Your job is to research music artists online and find their correct:

• Instagram account
• Email address

Payment

You are paid per successfully researched contact:

$0.06 per Instagram account
$0.14 per email address

For most researchers, this results in an approximate hourly rate of $3–$4 per hour, depending on your research speed and performance.

Our best researchers currently achieve up to approximately $6 per hour.

There are also additional performance bonuses:

750 contacts ? $15 bonus
1,000 contacts ? $30 bonus
1,500 contacts ? $50 bonus

Researchers with consistently very high quality can additionally qualify for a 15% increase in their payout rates.

Quality requirements

Quality is extremely important to us. Before submitting research, make sure that:

• You found the correct artist and not simply someone with a similar name.
• You properly verified the Instagram account.
• You searched thoroughly before marking an Instagram account or email as unavailable.
• You check sources such as Instagram bios, websites, link-in-bio pages, YouTube, SoundCloud and other relevant platforms.
• You only submit information that you can reasonably connect to the correct artist.
• You follow our Research Guidelines and learn from QA feedback.

We check both incorrect information and information that should reasonably have been found but was missed.

Your application = the Research Test

We don’t require a traditional CV or cover letter.

Instead, your Research Test is your application.

We will initially accept only the first 5 applicants who successfully pass our Quality Assurance review, so completing the test early is recommended.

Do not cheat on the test or have somebody else complete it for you.

We compare your test performance with the quality of your actual work after onboarding. If you later make significant mistakes that you did not make during the test and we have reason to believe that the test did not represent your actual research ability, you will immediately be removed from the program.

No previous music industry experience is required.
