About the Role

Head of Social Strategy (we’re hiring a real Head of Social, not a social media manager)
Remote | Full-time

Own the social strategy for exciting new launches in toys & games

We're an established toys and games brand, coming off the back of one of the most successful sport-related backyard game products in the category. We're now transitioning into a wider sports-related toys and games company, speed running zero to one million customers over the next three years.

We're assembling a team of highly talented people to own each department, and this role is one of them.

Our thesis: anyone can copy a product. Nobody can copy a fan base.

The great modern game brands aren't selling objects in boxes. They're building platforms, and social content is how they do it:

-Spikeball took a backyard game and turned it into a genuine sport: active players, in-person events, and a real community.
-Popdarts took a simple table game and now kids call themselves Popdarts players, build Instagram handles around it, and show up to live events. It's become a niche sport in its own right.
-Exploding Kittens built a cult following of fans who wait for every new game and drop. A franchise, not a one-off product.
-Golf Daddy and Bucket Golf haven't built community at that level, but they've built huge social followings around their product and their game, proof of how far pure content can carry a brand.

That spectrum — from big social following all the way to genuine sport with real-world events — is exactly the playbook we're running across our portfolio.

For each of our hero products, this role strategies and owns the build: where on that spectrum the brand should live, and how content, community, and drops get it there.

The Role

You are the strategist and owner of organic growth across the entire portfolio.

This is not a traditional social media manager role. You're not simply scheduling posts or managing an existing content calendar.

You'll design the strategies and be accountable for getting them shipped and hitting numbers, working through creators, clippers, editors, and affiliate armies.

You'll own things like:

-Building our flagship new launch into a platform brand. Target: 250K Instagram followers, with an audience hooked on updates and drops.
-A short-form machine across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. Target: 1 billion cumulative organic views portfolio-wide.
-The affiliate engine. This is central to how we'll grow. Traditional UGC and content sourcing is slow: one creator, one brief, one video at a time. Hudson Leogrande's brand Comfrt revolutionized it by building an army of affiliates on TikTok Shop, hundreds of core creators posting daily and thousands more on open enrollment, generating a torrent of content that then fuels Meta, Instagram, and AppLovin paid acquisition. That is the system we're building. Ideally you've worked with this model before; if not, you'll work with the team and founders on running it.
-Turning a product into a sport. Building a fan base and community from zero, with a roadmap to real-world events and competition.
-Creative that stands out. Coming up with ideas and running shoots that make our brands impossible to scroll past. We're always generating content that stands out, not doing the same as every other brand on Instagram.
-Monthly reporting to the founders. Growth, views, affiliate revenue, community, learnings, and next moves.

Why This Is a Rare Opportunity

-Whole-portfolio ownership from day one. You're not inheriting someone else's playbook or optimizing a mature account. You're writing the strategy for multiple new category launches, with the founders as your only stakeholders.
-Proven engine behind you. This isn't zero-to-one on a maybe. The existing brand does eight figures, paid acquisition is firing, and the products are already built. But great paid acquisition runs on a constant supply of high-level content, and generating that is exactly what this role owns. The organic flywheel is the missing piece, and the moat.
-Category timing. Physical games and backyard sports are having a generational moment, and short-form is how they blow up. The right operator here gets to put their name on category-defining launches.
-Lean, global, AI-first team where speed wins, shipping beats meetings, and you have direct access to both founders.

Who We're Looking For

-You've personally grown a brand or creator account to six-figures+ followers and can show us the account and the numbers.
-You've built or run an affiliate, clipper, or TikTok Shop creator program with revenue attached. Direct experience with the -Comfrt-style affiliate model is a major advantage; at minimum you need a genuine understanding of how it works and why it wins.
-You're incredibly creative and think outside the box: you generate original content ideas and can plan and run shoots, not just repost what every other brand is doing.
-You're platform-native: you know what's working on TikTok and Reels this month, not last year.
-You understand fandom: drops, scarcity, community, events. Games, sports, or toys experience is a big plus.
-You build systems, not one-offs: playbooks, trackers, repeatable machines.
-You move fast and use AI tools aggressively to multiply your output.

How to apply

Skip the cover letter. Send us:

1. Links to accounts or programs you've grown, with numbers
2. A one-page take: how would you take a brand-new game brand from 0 to its first 50K followers?

We're interested in your actual thinking and strategy — including your content approach, creator/affiliate strategy, community-building ideas, and how you would measure success.

Applications that do not include both requirements above may not be considered. Thank you
