Project Estimator

I’m looking for an experienced Project Estimator

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare accurate estimates for residential and commercial roofing projects
• Perform detailed roofing quantity takeoffs
• Review plans, aerial measurements, photos, and inspection reports
• Calculate roofing materials and quantities
• Apply current material pricing and supplier quotes
• Track active estimates, bid deadlines, and project status
• Prepare weekly estimating updates
• Coordinate with the owner regarding scope, pricing, and bid requirements
• Make sure estimates are completed accurately and on time

Requirements

• 3–5 years of roofing estimating experience
• Experience with US-based residential and commercial roofing projects
• Hands-on experience with Stack Edge or PlanSwift — REQUIRED
• Able to independently perform a complete roofing takeoff using Stack Edge or PlanSwift
• Ability to read and interpret roofing plans, aerial measurements, and inspection documents
• Good understanding of US roofing materials and pricing
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good written English
• Able to manage multiple estimates and deadlines independently

Preferred

• Experience with both Stack Edge and PlanSwift
• Insurance restoration / Xactimate experience
• Commercial flat roofing experience
• EagleView or Hover experience
• Experience with residential replacement and new construction roofing

Important

Stack Edge or PlanSwift experience is a HARD REQUIREMENT.

This is not a training role. We’re looking for someone who can confidently perform roofing takeoffs and prepare estimates independently.

During the initial interview, you may be asked to explain a recent takeoff you completed using Stack Edge or PlanSwift.
