VEGAS PRO Editor for Compilation Videos - Long-Term

Hi,

I run several compilation channels on YouTube, and I’m looking for a Sony VEGAS Pro editor who is willing to learn our workflow, understand our style, and become highly efficient at creating compilation videos.

This is not a one-time gig or pay-per-project position. I’m looking for someone reliable who can work with us long term and consistently follow our editing standards.

Position Details
Role: VEGAS Pro Editor for Compilation Videos
Pay: $380/month
Payment: Bi-weekly
Schedule: Part-time
Expected workload: Around 2-3 hours per day on average
You may work ahead and take free days as long as your assigned videos are completed on schedule.
What You'll Be Doing

You will receive VEGAS Pro project files containing meme clips and use them to create the final compilation videos based on our templates and guidelines.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Reviewing clips and removing anything dangerous, inappropriate, boring, or unfitting for the channel.
Selecting clips according to the specific channel/template requirements.
Arranging and mixing clips from multiple project files(copy and paste) to create one complete compilation.
Cutting clips at the beginning or end when necessary to remove boring or unnecessary moments while keeping the clips natural and entertaining.
Properly arranging clips to maintain good pacing throughout the video.
Removing or replacing copyrighted music/audio when necessary.
Cropping clips when needed to hide captions, watermarks, or unnecessary elements.
Creating or applying blurry backgrounds when required.
Following our established templates and editing SOPs.
Updating the required Google Sheets with video/project information.
Checking the final video carefully before submission.

You will be provided with a tutorial/SOP explaining our workflow and the requirements for each channel.

The work itself is very learnable once you understand the system, but attention to detail and consistency are extremely important.

We are looking for someone who can eventually become comfortable enough with the workflow to work independently without needing constant supervision.
