About the Role

We are Isla Active, a new premium women's activewear brand based in Koh Samui, Thailand. We're anchored to a reformer pilates studio and launching on TikTok Shop Thailand, Shopee and Lazada.

We have just received our first production run — 1,800 pieces of leggings, sports bras, shorts and t-shirts. We have professional product photography from our manufacturer, but the garments in those photos are unbranded. We need our logo added to them so the images match what we actually ship.

This is real, ongoing work for a growing brand, not a one-off gig.

The job

You will take our existing professional product photos and:

Composite our logo onto the garments so it looks genuinely printed or heat-pressed into the fabric — following the fabric's stretch, folds, curve and lighting. Not pasted flat on top.
Clean up backgrounds — replace with pure white or neutral studio grey, consistent across the whole catalogue.
Colour-match and standardise — our 4 colourways (Black, Cacao Brown, Light Blue, Pink) must look accurate and consistent across every image and every product.
Export to marketplace specs — 1:1 square, 1000×1000px minimum, JPEG under 5MB, correctly named per our convention.

Expected volume: roughly 150–250 images in the first month, then ongoing as we add products.

Skills you must have
Adobe Photoshop (required — no alternatives)
Displacement mapping — you must know how to make a logo conform to fabric texture and stretch. If you don't know what a displacement map is, this role is not for you.
Blend modes (Multiply, Soft Light, Overlay) and how to match a logo's lighting and shadow to the underlying photo
Clean pen-tool / precision masking around hair, fingers and fabric edges
Colour correction and matching across a batch
Batch processing with Actions to keep output consistent
Working English — enough to understand written feedback and ask questions when a brief is unclear

Nice to have: experience with apparel or activewear e-commerce; familiarity with TikTok Shop, Shopee or Lazada listing requirements; basic short-form video editing (we may add this later at a higher rate).

Important: what this job is NOT

Please read this carefully — it's the most common misunderstanding.

We do NOT want AI-generated images. No AI-generated models. No AI-generated lifestyle scenes, beaches, gyms or fabricated environments. No generative re-rendering of the garment itself.

Marketplace policies now require visible "AI-generated" disclosure labels on synthetic product imagery, and we will not risk our listings.

You may use AI-assisted tools for cutout, masking, background removal and cleanup — that is normal post-production and it's fine. But the product must remain pixel-for-pixel the real product. We retouch. We do not generate.

Applications built around Midjourney, Sora or similar generative portfolios will not be considered.

Accuracy matters more than beauty

Our physical garments have the logo in one specific location at one specific size. Your job is to replicate exactly that — not to make the nicest-looking composition.

If a customer receives a product that doesn't match the photo, we get returns and our seller rating drops. We will give you reference photos of the actual physical garment. Match them precisely. If something in the brief looks wrong or inconsistent, tell us before you edit 50 images.

Pay, hours and how we'll work
$5.00 – $7.00 USD/hour, depending on demonstrated skill
Tracked through OnlineJobs.ph TimeProof
Paid weekly
First week capped at 10 hours so we can both assess fit, then we'll increase

On throughput: we understand the first few images are slow while you build the logo template, displacement map and Photoshop Action. After that we'd expect roughly 6–12 finished images per hour. We're not going to micromanage you — but please flag it early if the work is running significantly slower than that so we can adjust the brief instead of burning hours.

We will provide: logo in vector (.AI, .SVG, .EPS) and transparent PNG, a written placement spec in centimetres, reference photos of the real garment, and the full source image library in Google Drive.

How to apply

Applications that don't follow this format will be ignored. Please send:

The word "CACAO" at the top of your message, so we know you read the full post.
2–3 before/after examples of logo or graphic compositing onto fabric or clothing. This is the single most important part of your application — portfolios without apparel compositing work will not be shortlisted.
A short answer to this question: How would you make a logo follow the curve and stretch of the waistband on a pair of leggings? Two or three sentences is enough — we just want to know you understand the technique.
Your hourly rate and how many hours per week you can commit.
Your Photoshop version and confirmation you have a stable internet connection for transferring large files.

Paid test task: shortlisted applicants will be given 2 images to edit for a fixed $5 USD, paid whether or not we hire you. Expect roughly 30–60 minutes of work. We'll hire from that test.

We reply to every shortlisted applicant within 3 days.
