Marketing Assistant

Creative Difference is a boutique marketing and leadership consultancy. I'm a sole proprietor with 20+ years of experience spanning strategy, web design, event and experiential marketing, PR, copywriting, and digital strategy — and I serve a range of clients directly, from hospitality brands to a growing e-commerce client. I'm looking for a Virtual Assistant to help me stay ahead of the workload across all of it.

This is a varied, fast-moving role. No two weeks look exactly the same, so I need someone who's organized, genuinely curious, and comfortable asking questions rather than guessing.

What you'll be doing
Weekly tasks will shift depending on what's active, but typically include:
Supporting Shopify store management and updates for a retail client — product listings, site edits, basic troubleshooting, and ongoing store maintenance
Running analytics and building out reporting presentations
Drafting media copy and content plans across multiple platforms
Managing and creating social media content, with a good eye for what performs and why
Designing in Canva — templates, social graphics, presentation decks, and more
Creating and maintaining templates for proposals, agendas, and other recurring documents
Using AI tools thoughtfully — writing good prompts, refining outputs, and knowing when to push further
Other business and administrative tasks as they come up
