Part-Time / Freelance | Philippines-Based | Remote

We are looking for a highly skilled video editor based in the Philippines to support the social media content of a premium Alaska fishing and adventure lodge.

This role is ideal for someone who is very strong in Instagram Reels, short-form storytelling, engaging social media edits, and polished long-form video content.

We are looking for someone who does more than just basic cuts and transitions. You should understand how to make content feel engaging, professional, modern, and visually strong from the first few seconds.

Expected Workload

• Approximately 3 short-form videos / Reels per week
• Approximately 2 long-form videos per month
• Additional editing projects may come up depending on the campaign

What You’ll Be Editing

Content may include:

• Fishing and outdoor adventure footage
• Lodge and destination content
• Guest experiences
• Scenic and lifestyle footage
• Promotional social media content
• Instagram Reels and other short-form videos
• Longer-form storytelling or promotional videos

What We’re Looking For

You should have strong experience with:

• Instagram Reels and short-form video editing
• Creating strong hooks within the first few seconds
• Pacing and storytelling
• Music selection and syncing
• Captions / on-screen text
• Clean transitions and effects
• Color correction and basic color grading
• Audio cleanup and sound design
• Editing raw footage into polished, engaging content
• Understanding current social media editing styles without making videos feel overly trendy or gimmicky

Experience editing travel, outdoor, hospitality, resort, fishing, tourism, adventure, or lifestyle content is a big plus.

Editing Software

You may use:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Final Cut Pro
• DaVinci Resolve
• CapCut Desktop
• Or another professional editing platform

We care more about the quality of your work than the software you use.

Compensation

Budget is approximately $500 USD/month, depending on experience and overall fit.

We are also open to discussing an hourly arrangement for the right person.

Trial Edit

Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a trial edit before final selection.

The trial will help us evaluate:

• Editing quality
• Storytelling
• Pacing
• Creativity
• Ability to follow direction
• Overall fit with the brand style
