The Role
I'm hiring a short-form video editor to handle a steady, high-volume workflow. This is around 15 videos per week, often done in batches. The editing itself is simple and repeatable once you know the system, nothing fancy. Pay is $500 a month.
One thing I want to be upfront about: the due dates are strict. Videos need to go out on time every week, so I need someone reliable who can keep the pace without being chased.
What You'll Do
- Text-on-screen production: clean, faceless videos using b-roll and dynamic typography
- Reaction edits: simple, clean reaction cuts (overlaying my reaction footage onto a reference clip)
- AI-assisted scripting: using tools like ChatGPT to draft high-hook scripts from provided tax topics
- Posting and formatting across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook using my existing ----------
Requirements
- Proficiency in CapCut or Premiere Pro for fast-paced short-form editing
- Comfortable following detailed SOPs (I have a full SOP folder for you)
- Reliable with strict weekly deadlines
- An interest in finance/tax content helps, but you don't need to be an expert
- Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT for scripting is a plus
