QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper / P&L Specialist

We are looking for an experienced QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to review our company books and prepare accurate Profit & Loss statements.

The ideal candidate must be highly experienced with QuickBooks Online and comfortable working with a business that has a large number of transactions across multiple sales channels.

Responsibilities

• Work directly inside our QuickBooks Online account
• Review and properly categorize income and expenses
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
• Review transactions for duplicates, errors, or incorrect classifications
• Separate and categorize sales from different business channels
• Properly categorize inventory purchases, shipping, payroll, advertising, fees, rent, insurance, utilities, and other operating expenses
• Review Amazon, Walmart, eBay, TikTok Shop, Shopify, and other marketplace transactions when needed
• Prepare accurate monthly and annual Profit & Loss statements
• Help clean up prior-year bookkeeping if necessary
• Identify discrepancies or missing information and explain what needs to be corrected
• Make sure the final P&L accurately reflects the financial performance of the business

Requirements

• Strong QuickBooks Online experience is REQUIRED
• Experience preparing Profit & Loss statements
• Strong bookkeeping and account reconciliation skills
• Experience with e-commerce businesses is highly preferred
• Experience handling Amazon and other marketplace sales is a major plus
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and identify accounting discrepancies
• Must be able to clearly explain any corrections or adjustments made
