Certified GoHighLevel Specialist — Email Automation & Segmentation

Vanguard Care Solutions is a licensed Maryland home care company. We run three brands from one GoHighLevel account: Vanguard Care Solutions, Vanguard Home Care, and Care Without Crisis, our free education program for families caring for aging parents.

The owner spends his week in the field meeting hospital discharge planners, social workers, and elder-law attorneys in person. The CRM has to run correctly while he is out of the building. That is the job.

Our account was built by one contractor with no documentation and no backup. It works, but we have outgrown it. We need someone senior who can take real ownership.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build and maintain our tag and segmentation system. The architecture is already written and documented — you implement it, apply it to an existing under-labeled database, and keep it clean.
• Build email sequences and workflows across six pipelines: three audience tracks with separate sender identities, plus behavior-triggered handoffs.
• Build suppression and exclusion rules as hard rules, not intentions. A referral partner must never receive a family education email .
• Own deliverability: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, warm-up, and complaint monitoring. We send all three brands from one address, so damage on one track follows us into the others.
• Build forms, landing pages, calendars, and UTM tracking.
• Maintain integrations with AxisCare, ---------- , and QuickBooks.
• Document everything in plain English and deliver a monthly data audit.

You are not writing the copy. Strategy, sequences, and subject lines are supplied to you. You build, test, document, and maintain.

REQUIREMENTS

Required: HighLevel Certified Admin (Foundational Track).
Strongly preferred: HighLevel Certified Workflow Specialist (Automation Track). Most of this role is automation, and this is the credential we weight most heavily.
Two or more years in GoHighLevel daily at admin level.
Real email marketing depth — segmentation, suppression logic, list hygiene, deliverability. Not just sending campaigns.
Hands-on SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration at a DNS host.

Available every weekday morning Eastern Time through 12:00 noon EST.
Clear written English and the discipline to document as you build.

Helpful but not required: GoHighLevel Companies or custom objects, API v2 and webhooks, LC Phone and IVR, US healthcare or another regulated industry.

We work under a Maryland state license. No patient information ever enters email , and nothing goes live untested. If you have worked somewhere that shipped first and fixed later, this is not that job.

Which certifications do you hold — Certified Admin, Certified Workflow Specialist, or both — and what year did you earn each?
Describe the tag naming convention you use on a new build, and why you name them that way.
A contact carries two conflicting audience tags and is now eligible for two different email sequences. Name the specific GoHighLevel mechanism you would use to prevent that, and how you would catch it before a client does.
You inherit an account with no documentation and inconsistent tagging. What are the first three things you check, and in what order?

Your rate, your available hours in US Eastern Time, and your earliest start date. Hours will likely increase.

Include a Loom video, three minutes maximum, walking through a GoHighLevel workflow you built. Screen recording is fine. We are looking at your thinking, not your production values.
