About the Role
We are a fast-growing sports media brand living and breathing football (soccer) culture. We are looking for a creative, proactive, and versatile Social Media Manager to take our digital presence to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Growth & Management: Scale and oversee daily operations across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook , and YouTube.
  • Content Creation & Editing:
  • Design, edit, and produce graphics, carousels, stories, reels, and video shorts for daily publishing.
  • Execute video editing tasks including trimming, adding text overlays/captions, syncing audio, and applying visual polish.
  • Produce quick-turnaround content to react to breaking news, trending topics, and matchday moments.
  • Brand Strategy: Partner with our Brand Strategist to maintain consistent messaging, positioning, and visual identity across all platforms.
  • Strategy & Analytics: Plan, schedule, and publish content using analytics tools to track performance, optimize engagement, and meet growth KPIs.
  • Community Building: Active community management—engaging in comments, DMs, and community threads to foster a loyal, highly active fanbase.
  • Paid Media (Meta Ads): Set up, manage, and optimize Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns (experience on other ad platforms is a plus).
  • Trend & News Monitoring: Stay hyper-focused on breaking football news, matchday narratives, memes, and viral internet football culture to produce timely, engaging content.
  • Team Operations: Assist with minor administrative or operational tasks to support team efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Editing Skills & Tool Proficiency:
  • Video Editing: Hands-on experience with tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or mobile video editors for social content.
  • Graphic Design: Proficient in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Figma for creating graphics, match updates, scorecards, and carousels.
  • Social Media & Analytics Tools: Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Sprout Social) and native platform analytics.
  • Football Knowledge & Passion: Deep, up-to-date knowledge of global football (leagues, teams, players, tactics, and internet football culture/memes).
  • Schedule Alignment: Able to consistently work 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM PHT, Monday to Friday to match European business/match hours.
  • Social Media Experience: Proven track record of managing, growing, and engaging social media communities in sports or digital media.
  • Paid Ads Experience: Practical experience running and optimizing Meta Ads (Facebook /Instagram).
  • Creative & Strategic Mindset: Strong eye for sports aesthetics, visual storytelling, copywriting, and content ideation.
  • Remote Work Ethic: Self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and accustomed to collaborating remotely via tools like ClickUp.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation
  • Growth & Advancement Potential: Clear career growth opportunities to step into senior, lead, or strategic content roles as our brand expands
  • 100% remote working setup
  • Opportunity to work directly within the global sports media and football ecosystem
