AMAZON FBA ACCOUNT MANAGER / PRODUCT-SOURCING VA

I am looking for an experienced Amazon FBA virtual assistant who can operate and grow my Amazon seller account from A–Z.
My involvement should be limited to:
Approving and paying for inventory and necessary business expenses.
Signing important supplier or legal documents.
Completing identity verification when Amazon requires the account owner.
Giving final approval before inventory is purchased.
The VA will be responsible for everything else described below.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
You must have proven experience managing a US Amazon Seller Central account. You must understand wholesale sourcing, online arbitrage, FBA, product restrictions, supplier verification, profitability analysis, inventory management and account health.
You must be able to communicate clearly in English, provide organized reports and work without constant supervision.
PRODUCT RESEARCH
You will be responsible for:
Finding profitable, replenishable products.
Searching for products from legitimate wholesalers, distributors and brands.
Checking the exact ASIN, UPC, variation, size, quantity and condition.
Confirming that my seller account is eligible to sell each product.
Identifying category, brand, ASIN and condition restrictions.
Checking whether Amazon sells the product.
Checking sales rank, estimated monthly sales and sales history.
Reviewing Keepa history, Buy Box history and price stability.
Checking the number of FBA and FBM sellers.
Checking whether the listing is dominated by Amazon, the brand or one seller.
Identifying possible intellectual-property, counterfeit or authenticity risks.
Checking expiration dates, hazmat status, meltable restrictions and special preparation requirements.
Avoiding products with unstable prices, excessive competition or frequent listing problems.
Avoiding products with high return rates or compliance risks.
Every product recommendation must include:
Product name and exact ASIN.
Amazon listing link.
Supplier name and product link.
Supplier’s contact information.
Unit purchase cost.
Minimum order quantity.
Shipping cost to Amazon or a preparation center.
Amazon referral and FBA fees.
Expected selling price.
Net profit per unit.
Profit margin.
ROI.
Estimated monthly sales.
Recommended order quantity.
Number of competing sellers.
Buy Box and price history.
Restrictions and risks.
Confirmation that my account can sell the exact product.
Screenshot or supporting evidence for important figures.
My preferred minimum targets are:
At least $5 estimated net profit per unit.
At least 25% ROI after all known costs.
Stable selling-price history.
Enough sales to support the recommended order quantity.
No purchase recommendation based only on temporary price spikes.
A product that meets these numbers is not automatically approved. You must wait for my written approval before placing any order.
SUPPLIER SOURCING AND COMMUNICATION
You will be responsible for:
Finding legitimate US brands, authorized wholesalers and distributors.
Verifying supplier contact information and business legitimacy.
Contacting suppliers by email or telephone.
Opening wholesale accounts using information I authorize.
Completing applications for me to review and sign.
Requesting catalogs, price lists, invoices, authorization letters and account terms.
Negotiating prices, minimum orders and shipping terms when possible.
Confirming that the supplier permits resale on Amazon.
Maintaining professional relationships with suppliers.
Organizing supplier records, invoices and correspondence.
Following up with suppliers about inventory and pricing.
Never using fake, edited, purchased or unverifiable invoices.
You may prepare purchase orders, but you may not place or pay for an order without my written approval.
UNGATING AND COMPLIANCE
You will be responsible for:
Checking whether approval is required before recommending a product.
Identifying Amazon’s exact ungating requirements.
Obtaining legitimate invoices and supporting documents from authorized suppliers.
Preparing and submitting applications when authorized.
Monitoring applications and responding to Amazon’s requests.
Keeping copies of every document submitted.
Never altering invoices, documents or product photographs.
Never submitting false information to Amazon.
Never buying inventory until eligibility and documentation requirements have been reviewed.
LISTING MANAGEMENT
You will be responsible for:
Matching products to the correct existing ASIN.
Verifying that the physical product exactly matches the listing.
Creating and maintaining offers.
Setting SKUs, prices and fulfillment channels.
Preventing duplicate listings.
Monitoring suppressed, stranded and inactive listings.
Resolving listing errors and catalog problems.
Opening and following up on Seller Support cases.
Maintaining accurate inventory and pricing.
Never changing an existing product detail page in a misleading way.
Never creating bundles, multipacks or variations that violate Amazon policy.
FBA SHIPMENT MANAGEMENT
You will be responsible for:
Creating FBA shipment plans.
Preparing product, labeling and packaging instructions.
Coordinating with suppliers or a preparation center.
Confirming carton contents, weights and measurements.
Generating FNSKU and shipping labels.
Tracking shipments until they are received.
Investigating shortages, damaged inventory and receiving discrepancies.
Opening reimbursement cases when appropriate.
Monitoring stranded, unfulfillable and aged inventory.
Recommending removal or liquidation when necessary.
PRICING AND INVENTORY
You will be responsible for:
Monitoring Buy Box eligibility and price changes.
Managing repricing within approved minimum and maximum prices.
Protecting the account from selling below the required profit level.
Tracking inventory levels and sales velocity.
Preparing restock recommendations.
Preventing unnecessary storage and aged-inventory fees.
Identifying products that should be reordered, paused or discontinued.
Never ordering or committing to inventory without my approval.
ACCOUNT HEALTH AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
You will be responsible for:
Monitoring Account Health every business day.
Monitoring policy notifications, performance notifications and compliance requests.
Responding promptly to buyer messages.
Managing returns, refunds and customer-service issues according to Amazon policy.
Investigating negative feedback and requesting removal only when allowed.
Preparing responses and plans of action for my review when necessary.
Reporting serious account warnings to me immediately.
Keeping late-shipment, cancellation and defect metrics within Amazon’s requirements.
Never manipulating reviews, feedback, rankings or sales.
Never contacting customers for prohibited reasons.
FINANCIAL AND PERFORMANCE REPORTING
You will provide a weekly report showing:
Gross sales.
Amazon fees.
Cost of goods.
Shipping and preparation costs.
Refunds and returns.
Advertising expenses, if applicable.
Estimated net profit.
Profit by ASIN.
Inventory value.
Inventory in stock, inbound and stranded.
Recommended reorders.
Products losing money.
Account-health issues.
Supplier outreach completed.
New products researched.
Open Seller Support cases.
Tasks completed and tasks still pending.
All numbers must account for Amazon fees, product cost, inbound shipping, preparation, labeling, storage and other known expenses.
ACCOUNT ACCESS AND SECURITY
You will receive your own authorized Seller Central secondary-user access. You will not receive my primary login.
You must:
Use your own authorized user profile.
Enable two-step verification.
Keep all business information confidential.
Use only the permissions necessary for your job.
Never change the primary account owner.
Never change banking, deposit, tax, legal-entity or credit-card information.
Never add another user without my written approval.
Never share access with another person.
Never install software or connect third-party services without approval.
Never download or distribute customer information.
Never make purchases or transfer money.
Never represent yourself as the legal owner of the business.
Immediately report any suspected security issue.
Any unauthorized sharing of account information or access will result in immediate termination.
PROHIBITED METHODS
The following are strictly prohibited:
Fake, altered or borrowed invoices.
Counterfeit or questionable inventory.
Buying from unauthorized sources while claiming they are distributors.
Review manipulation.
Search manipulation or artificial orders.
Multiple-account schemes.
Using customer information outside Amazon.
Misrepresenting products or product condition.
Listing against the wrong ASIN.
Sending used, damaged or expired products as new.
Using black-hat tactics.
Making guarantees about profits or sales.
Purchasing inventory without my approval.
Hiding losses, warnings, suspensions or supplier problems.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Please provide:
Number of years managing Amazon accounts.
Marketplaces you have managed.
Whether you specialize in wholesale, online arbitrage or private label.
Examples of products you researched and managed.
Tools you use, such as Keepa, SellerAmp, Jungle Scout or Helium 10.
An example of your product-analysis spreadsheet.
An example of a weekly performance report.
Your process for verifying suppliers.
Your process for checking restrictions and intellectual-property risks.
References from previous Amazon clients, if available.
Your requested hourly or monthly rate.
Your available working hours and time zone.
Confirmation that you will not subcontract the work without permission.
PAID TEST PROJECT
Before receiving ongoing account access, you will complete a small paid test.
The test will require you to:
Find three legitimate wholesale or replenishable product opportunities.
Verify the suppliers.
Check whether my account can sell the exact ASINs.
Provide complete cost, fee, sales, competition, profit and ROI calculations.
