Senior Roofing Estimator – Australian Roofing Experience

Part-Time | Remote

We are looking for an experienced and Senior Roofing Estimator to join our team on a part-time, fully remote basis.

We're specifically looking for someone with strong hands-on experience estimating Australian roofing projects. This is not a general estimating position or for junior estimators — roofing experience is essential.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience estimating Australian roofing projects
• Strong experience completing detailed roofing takeoffs and estimates
• Good understanding of Australian roofing plans, specifications and construction details
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable and able to consistently meet deadlines
• Good written and spoken English
• Available for part-time remote work
• Senior Roofing Experience***

You should be confident estimating items such as:

• Metal roof sheeting
• Flashings and cappings
• Gutters and downpipes
• Fascia
• Valleys
• Roof penetrations and accessories
• Insulation and roof-related components
• Material quantities and wastage

Experience across residential, commercial and architectural roofing projects will be highly regarded.

Software

Experience with takeoff and estimating software is required.

Experience using roofing-specific takeoff or estimating software will be considered a strong advantage.

The Role

You'll be responsible for reviewing project documentation, completing roofing takeoffs and preparing estimates for Australian roofing contractors.

The role is:

• Part-time
• 100% remote
• Ongoing for the right person
• Focused specifically on Australian roofing projects

We're looking for someone who already understands roofing estimating and can become productive quickly rather than someone who needs to be trained in the fundamentals.
