You’ll start full-time and spend your first months learning the core of maintenance coordination—triaging requests, dispatching vendors, communicating with residents and owners, and ensuring repairs are completed on time and on budget.
This immersive trainee role builds skills in prioritization, problem-solving, critical thinking, and customer delight. As you progress, you’ll take on a defined maintenance coordination portfolio—owning work orders end-to-end, supporting preventative maintenance plans, and helping improve our systems and vendor performance.

What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Coordinator Trainee, you will:
Intake & Triage
Receive, categorize, and prioritize maintenance requests from residents and owners.
Troubleshoot basic issues and provide first-line guidance when appropriate.
Vendor Coordination - Source, schedule, and dispatch licensed/insured vendors.
Confirm scopes, pricing ranges, and SLAs; follow up to ensure quality and timeliness.
Maintain accurate vendor notes, availability, and performance data.
Work Order Management
Open, update, and close work orders in our systems with complete documentation.
Communicate status updates proactively to residents and owners.
Track estimates, approvals, photos, and invoices.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure work adheres to standards and warranty guidelines.
Support preventative maintenance calendars and seasonal readiness checklists.
Escalate urgent issues and follow emergency protocols.
Data & Process Improvement
Monitor metrics (first-response time, time-to-schedule, time-to-complete, resident satisfaction).
Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to workflows and templates.

Position Details
Employment Type: Full-time.
Compensation: $640/month, which is $4/hour. With the growth potential to $1120/month, which is $7 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday starting at 8:00 AM PST; occasional on-call or after-hours support may be required during training and/or on a rotation.
Requirements
High English proficiency (written and spoken).
Strong computer skills and stable internet connection.
Self-starter with excellent attention to detail.
