YouTube & Short-Form Video Editor

We are hiring a reliable, creative, and organized part-time video editor for BeterAMZ, a personal brand focused on Amazon FBA education, entrepreneurship, lifestyle content, and business.

This is a long-term position for an editor who can take ownership of the editing workflow, follow detailed instructions, communicate proactively, and consistently meet deadlines.

Content You’ll Edit

• YouTube long-form videos
• Instagram Reels
• Occasional paid video advertisements
• Amazon FBA educational content
• Personal journey and lifestyle content
• Business-related entertainment and jokes

Weekly Output

You should be able to complete approximately:

• 2–3 long-form YouTube videos per week
• 7–14 short-form videos per week

Long-form videos should normally be completed within 3–4 days. Short-form videos should normally be completed within 24 hours.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging long-form and short-form videos
• Remove dead space, unnecessary pauses, and repetitive sections
• Create strong hooks within the first few seconds
• Use visual pattern interrupts to maintain viewer attention
• Add captions and kinetic typography
• Add motion graphics and simple animations
• Perform sound design and audio cleanup
• Add provided B-roll, ---------- s, graphics, and other creative assets
• Format videos correctly for YouTube, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels
• Upload and schedule finished content
• Write titles, descriptions, tags, and hashtags
• Maintain an organized content calendar
• Keep project files and assets organized
• Complete up to two rounds of revisions when requested
• Communicate through ---------- with a brief weekday check-in

Required Skills

• Strong short-form and Reels editing experience
• Strong sense of pacing, hooks, and viewer retention
• Experience with captions and kinetic typography
• Motion graphics and animation skills
• Sound design and audio-cleanup skills
• Ability to create clean, professional, fast-paced business content
• Ability to follow instructions and apply feedback quickly
• Good written English and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Reliable computer and internet connection

Software Requirements

You must be proficient with either:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects

Experience with CapCut is optional. Files and assets will be shared through Google Drive.

Schedule and Compensation

• Part-time: approximately 25–30 hours per week
• Flexible working days as long as deadlines and weekly output are met
• Hours tracked through OnlineJobs.ph TimeProof
• Starting rate: $3 USD per hour
• Paid weekly
• Opportunities for performance-based raises and increased hours

This position also offers the potential to become a lead editor, work across additional brands, and grow into a stable long-term role.
