Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced remote mortgage loan processor to help manage loan files from initial application through closing. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable communicating with borrowers and lenders, and able to manage multiple transactions with minimal supervision.

Experience processing private-money, business-purpose, construction, or fix-and-flip loans is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review new loan submissions for accuracy and completeness
• Collect borrower, entity, property, and financial documentation
• Maintain organized digital loan files and processing checklists
• Submit complete loan packages to lenders
• Track outstanding conditions, deadlines, and closing requirements
• Follow up with borrowers, lenders, title companies, insurance agents, appraisers, and other parties
• Order or coordinate appraisals, title reports, insurance, and other third-party items
• Review entity documents, bank statements, credit reports, construction budgets, and borrower experience
• Assist with construction draw documentation when needed
• Provide borrowers with clear status updates
• Update the CRM and loan pipeline regularly
• Identify missing or inconsistent information before it delays underwriting
• Help move approved loans efficiently through closing

Required Qualifications

• Several years of mortgage or loan-processing experience
• Strong understanding of the loan process from application through closing
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Reliable internet connection and availability during agreed-upon U.S. business hours
• Experience working with CRMs, spreadsheets, email , and digital document platforms
• Ability to handle confidential borrower and financial information professionally

• Private-money or hard-money lending
• Business-purpose real estate loans
• Fix-and-flip and bridge financing
• Ground-up or renovation construction loans
• DSCR investment-property loans
• Construction budgets and draw requests
• Title, appraisal, insurance, and closing coordination
• GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Google Workspace, and DocuSign

Compensation and Schedule

• Starting rate: $5 per hour
• Position type: Remote independent contractor
• Initial schedule: Part-time, with hours based on loan volume
• Growth opportunity: Potential for increased hours and responsibilities as the company and loan pipeline grow
