Senior Video Editor - You tube Long Form

We're a fast-growing company in the YouTube content space, working directly with established and emerging creators on high-impact, long-form content. We're after a senior-level editor who lives and breathes YouTube — someone who understands retention, pacing, and storytelling at a deep level and wants to work on channels with real growth ---------- ntum.

This is not a typical 9-5. No time tracking, no micromanagement. You'll collaborate with a sharp content team and edit directly on channels that are scaling.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Edit and produce 2-3 high-quality, long-form (15-20 min) talking-head YouTube videos per week, work load might vary.
• Apply advanced storytelling, pacing, visual structure, and on-screen elements to maximize engagement
• Collaborate with strategists and creators to develop and execute video ideas
• Keep every video aligned with each creator's brand, tone, and style
• Organize assets, timelines, and project files for clean production workflows
• Deliver on schedule while adapting to evolving direction or urgent requests

WHAT WE NEED (MUST-HAVES)

• 4-7 years of professional video editing experience
• Proven experience editing LONG-FORM video — this is non-negotiable
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Deep understanding of YouTube — algorithm behavior, audience psychology, and retention strategy
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and hit tight deadlines
• Strong creative instincts, storytelling ability, and sharp attention to detail
• A portfolio or showreel of long-form YouTube work (REQUIRED with application)

YOU'LL GET PRIORITY IF YOU HAVE

• Hands-on experience editing talking-head and/or podcast long-form videos
• A track record editing directly for YouTube content creators
• Experience with additional tools (Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, etc.) on top of Premiere + After Effects

• Background in YouTube creative strategy or growing a high-growth channel
• Knowledge of YouTube SEO, marketing, or monetization
• Familiarity with creators like Iman Gadzhi, Ali Abdaal, or Hamza
