Short-Form Video Editor for Real Estate Content – Algarve, Portugal (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)

SunnySteve Real Estate is a boutique real estate brand based in Lagos, Western Algarve, Portugal (brokered by eXp Realty), helping expats and international buyers find property in the region. We're looking for an experienced short-form video editor to become a long-term creative partner.

WHAT YOU'LL EDIT

• Instagram/TikTok Reels and YouTube Shorts from raw footage we film ourselves (property walkthroughs, market updates, neighbourhood spotlights, agent-on-camera clips)
• Occasional longer-form YouTube videos (property tours, area guides)
• All footage delivered via a shared cloud folder, you edit remotely on your own schedule

STYLE WE'RE AFTER
Elegant and premium, not the fast-cut, meme-heavy, overly flashy style common in generic social content. Confident pacing, clean transitions, tasteful text overlays, editing that makes the property and the region look genuinely desirable rather than gimmicky. Captions matter a lot to us: accurate, well-timed, on-brand styling (not generic auto-caption default fonts), used to reinforce the hook and key selling points, not just transcribe speech. You should understand current short-form trends but know when to hold back for an international, design-conscious audience.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience editing real estate or luxury lifestyle content (or a strong travel/hospitality/reel portfolio if not real estate specifically)
• Comfortable with Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve, motion titles, colour grading, 9:16 formatting
• Strong caption/subtitle work: clean sync, readable styling, smart emphasis on key words and numbers (price, m², location)
• Someone who brings creative judgment to a rough brief, not just literal instruction-following
• Reliable turnaround, a 30-60 second edit shouldn't take a week

HOW WE'LL WORK TOGETHER
Starting on a per-edit / gig basis to find the right fit and build a shared style. As volume grows this has real potential to become a fixed weekly retainer, and eventually full-time for the right person. We're looking for a long-term relationship, not a one-off gig.
