Customer Support Specialist – Shopify Dropshipping | Long-Term
Confidential employer
We are looking for an experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our growing e-commerce business long-term.
We operate multiple Shopify stores across international markets and are specifically looking for someone who already understands Shopify dropshipping customer support.
If you have worked with dropshipping stores before, you probably know the situations we deal with every day: shipping delays, tracking issues, supplier problems, wrong items, out-of-stock products, replacements, returns, refunds, and customers who sometimes require a little more patience and problem-solving.
You don't need to be a manager or know everything from day one. We have clear SOPs and will train you on our specific workflows.
What matters most is that you already understand e-commerce/dropshipping support, communicate well, learn quickly, and can think for yourself.
What you'll be doing
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Responding to customer email s
- Managing customer support through Gorgias
- Checking and managing orders in Shopify
- Handling shipping and tracking issues
- Communicating order issues with our fulfillment team
- Handling cancellations, replacements, returns, and refunds
- Finding reasonable solutions when something goes wrong
- Following up on unresolved customer cases
- Helping keep customers happy without unnecessarily refunding orders
- Flagging recurring problems when you notice them
We don't expect you to solve every situation independently from day one. You'll learn our policies, suppliers, workflows, and way of working during onboarding.
Who we're looking for
We're especially interested in someone who has:
- Previous customer support experience for Shopify dropshipping stores
- Experience using Shopify
- Experience with Gorgias, Re:amaze, Zendesk, or similar support platforms
- Good written English
- Experience handling shipping delays, tracking issues, refunds, replacements, and difficult customers
- Good judgment and common sense
- The ability to work independently once trained
- Reliable availability and communication
Experience with international dropshipping stores, suppliers, fulfillment agents, 17TRACK, ParcelPanel, PayPal disputes, or chargebacks is a strong plus.
We're looking for someone who wants to stay with us long-term and grow together with the business.
How to Apply
Start your application with the word DIAMOND so we know you read the full job post.
Please answer the following questions:
1. Tell me about your previous dropshipping experience.
What type of stores did you work with, what were your responsibilities, and how long did you work there?
2. Tell me about a difficult customer situation you personally handled.
What happened, and what did you do?
3. A customer wants a full refund because their order is delayed, but the package is still in transit. How would you handle it?
4. Which platforms and tools have you used?
5. What is your weekly availability?
Please also include:
- (optional) Your resume/CV
- A screenshot of your current internet speed
We're not looking for the person with the longest resume. We're looking for someone reliable who understands dropshipping, communicates well, learns quickly, and wants to become a long-term part of the team.
