Our mission is to create highly engaging content that reaches millions of viewers across YouTube and other digital platforms. We're currently looking to hire 2 talented Scriptwriters to help produce compelling, high-retention videos for the BlooGaming YouTube channel.

The Role

As a YouTube Scriptwriter, you'll be responsible for creating engaging, high-retention scripts that keep viewers watching from beginning to end.

You'll work closely with our Quality Lead to refine and improve every script before it is finalized. This role requires someone who is comfortable receiving detailed feedback, making multiple rounds of revisions, and improving their scripts based on feedback and performance goals.

We are looking for a writer who doesn't just submit a first draft, but takes ownership of the entire writing process — from the initial concept and first draft through revisions and final approval.

This role is ideal for someone who understands what makes YouTube content successful and enjoys turning ideas into entertaining, fast-paced narratives.

Responsibilities
Write 1–2 high-quality YouTube scripts per day for the BlooGaming channel.
Create strong hooks, engaging openings, and compelling story structures designed to maximize viewer retention.
Collaborate closely with the Quality Lead to revise, rewrite, and improve scripts based on feedback.
Be comfortable completing multiple rounds of revisions when necessary until a script meets our quality and retention standards.
Take feedback constructively and apply it accurately rather than simply making surface-level changes.
Identify weaknesses in a script's pacing, structure, storytelling, jokes, hooks, or overall engagement and proactively improve them.
Use Google Docs to draft, edit, revise, and collaborate on scripts.
Analyze YouTube Studio data to understand viewer behavior and apply insights to improve future content.
Continuously improve script structure, pacing, hooks, and storytelling based on performance metrics.
Brainstorm fresh video ideas and creative story progressions that keep viewers engaged throughout each video.
Stay up to date with YouTube trends, storytelling techniques, and audience retention strategies.
Meet daily deadlines while maintaining a consistently high standard of writing.

Requirements
Excellent written and spoken English.
Proven experience writing YouTube scripts or similar long-form digital content.
Strong understanding of YouTube audience retention, viewer psychology, pacing, hooks, and storytelling.
Ability to analyze YouTube Studio analytics and translate insights into better-performing scripts.
Strong revision skills and the ability to significantly improve a script based on feedback.
Comfortable receiving direct and detailed creative feedback from a Quality Lead.
Ability to complete revisions quickly and accurately while maintaining the original intent and improving the overall quality of the script.
Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging narratives and keep viewers invested throughout a video.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while meeting daily deadlines.
Willingness to write, revise, and refine scripts until they meet the required quality standard.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience writing gaming-related content.
Experience working with YouTube creators or digital media companies.
Knowledge of Minecraft or gaming content is a plus.
Familiarity with YouTube trends, analytics, and content optimization.
Experience working in a fast-paced content production environment where scripts go through multiple rounds of feedback and revisions.
