ABOUT THE ROLE:
INSIGLOBEX LLC, a U.S.-based international trade research firm, is seeking a sharp, energetic Field Research Assistant to execute an on-the-ground hospitality and retail audit in Manila
This is a flexible, short-term fieldwork gig ideal for a market research assistant, hospitality professional, or market-research with strong communication skills and an interest in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
You will visit 30 pre-selected or approved venues across Phnom Penh to collect menu and pricing data.
- Venue Coverage (30 Total Audit Records):
- ~20 On-Premise Venues: High-end cocktail bars, speakeasies, 5-star hotel lounges, and Western/fusion restaurants.
- ~10 Off-Premise Venues: Specialty liquor showrooms and gourmet/high-end supermarkets.
- Core Daily Tasks:
1. Digital Survey Logging: Fill out a quick 3-to-4 minute Google Form on your mobile phone for each venue.
2. Photo Capture: Take clear photos of drink menus, spirit list prices, and backbar bottle displays.
3. Quick-Chat Feedback: Engage in brief 2-to-3 minute conversations with stakeholders regarding top-selling imported spirits and supply preferences.
4. Daily Log Submission: Upload completed digital forms and menu photos at the end of each day.
TIMING & WORK HOURS:
- Flexible Scheduling: Can be completed in 5 to 6 afternoons (visiting 5–6 venues per day during pre-shift hours, typically 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM).
- Total Time Commitment: Approximately 15 to 20 total hours over a 1-to-2 week window.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Location: Based in Metro Manila with easy access to nightlife, dining, and retail hubs.
- Equipment: Smartphone with a quality camera, reliable mobile data, and Google Forms access.
- Communication Skills: Comfortable initiating quick, polite conversations with stakeholders.
- Languages: Fluent in English and capable of basic conversational in Korean (not required).
- Professionalism: Punctual, honest, and detail-oriented in logging accurate menu prices.
