Cybersecurity Program Manager

We're looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Program Manager / Deputy vCISO to oversee cybersecurity programs for multiple clients. In this role, you'll help organizations strengthen their security posture by managing governance, risk, compliance, and security initiatives while serving as a trusted advisor.

Must Have

• 5+ years of professional cybersecurity experience
• At least 2 years managing or leading cybersecurity programs
• Strong background in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
• Hands-on experience with security frameworks such as:
• SOC 2
• ISO 27001
• GDPR
• HIPAA
• PCI DSS
• Solid understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Experience conducting security assessments and gap analyses
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Comfortable presenting to customers and stakeholders
• Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills
• Able to work independently in a fully remote environment

Responsibilities

• Manage cybersecurity programs for multiple client accounts
• Serve as the primary cybersecurity contact for assigned customers
• Lead governance, risk, and compliance activities
• Coordinate security assessments and identify areas for improvement
• Develop security roadmaps and track remediation efforts
• Manage vulnerability management and penetration testing activities
• Support compliance initiatives across multiple security frameworks
• Coordinate third-party security reviews and vendor assessments
• Prepare executive and management-level security reports
• Participate in customer meetings and provide security guidance
• Promote security awareness initiatives and best practices
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful client outcomes
• Support business development by providing cybersecurity expertise when needed
• Help clients continuously improve their overall cybersecurity maturity

Plus to Have

• CISSP certification
• CISM certification
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification
• CRISC certification
• CDPSE certification
• Experience working as a vCISO or Deputy vCISO
• Experience supporting pre-sales or solution consulting activities
• Familiarity with managed security services
• Experience identifying opportunities to expand cybersecurity services for existing clients
