AI Designer (Web & Dashboards) | Full-Time, Long-Term

I run a fast-growing AI consulting business serving high-profile entrepreneurs in the German-speaking market. We help them work with Claude and we build the systems that run their business, and right now my developers can build faster than we can design. Three client sites are sitting on hold because there is nobody to design them, and our dashboards, the ones clients actually log into, still look like something a developer put together between two other jobs.

I am hiring one designer who owns all of it. This is not a role where you hand a pretty file to somebody else and hope they build it correctly. You design it and you build it, with AI doing the heavy lifting and your judgment d ---------- what ships.

Who you'll work with

You work directly with me and with a small, tight team of developers, an executive assistant and a copywriter, all full-time, all on OnlineJobs.ph like you. We have a short daily check-in and a written end-of-day report from everyone. You and the copywriter work from the same brief, in parallel, so a piece of content and its visuals come together instead of one waiting on the other. Clear structures, fast decisions, no corporate politics.

What you will do

• Design and build the client sites that are currently on hold, in HTML and CSS, AI-assisted
• Design our dashboards and our cockpit, internal and client-facing: panels, tables, charts, numbers that a busy person has to be able to read in seconds
• Build landing pages with AI tools, quickly and cleanly
• Create the visuals for our content, made yourself or generated
• Generate images and short video as supporting material, and keep iterating until it is actually right
• Apply our design systems consistently across everything, so our work looks like one company

What matters most to me

One thing above everything: judgment of your own.
AI hands you a first result in about ten seconds, and that first result is almost never the one that should go in front of a client. The person I hire knows the difference between a design that is finished and a design that only looks finished, and can tell me in two lines why they went with this version instead of the four they threw away. If your process is one prompt and whatever comes back, we will both be unhappy.

And as with everyone on my team: honesty and reliability. When you tell me something is done and checked, I need to fully trust that. "Done" has to mean done and tested, in the browser, on a phone as well.

My clients are in the German-speaking market, so data protection and security are always at the highest level.

Must-have

• HTML and CSS at build level, not visual layout only: you can build the page yourself (proof required)
• You work with AI every day, not occasionally
• Image and video generation with real judgment on when to iterate and when to stop (proof required)
• AI-assisted site and page building
• Interface design for data: panels, tables, charts, dashboards
• You apply an existing design system instead of reinventing it on every project
• Written English good enough for briefs and reviews
• Honest and reliable

Nice to have

• Short-form video editing
• A feel for typography in German text, where the words are longer and a layout that worked in English suddenly breaks

Hours

We work on Gulf Standard Time (Dubai, GMT+4). Team hours are 10 AM to 6 PM Dubai time, which is 2 PM to 10 PM your time in the Philippines. The whole team works the same hours. Short daily check-in, and a short written end-of-day report every day.

Compensation

Starting salary $800 USD/month, full-time, long-term. We start lean. Performance is rewarded fast: above-average work means steady raises and growing income over time.

Who should not apply

Please don't apply if you design in Figma and then hand the file to a developer. In this role the person who designs it is the person who builds it. Don't apply if you are a brand and corporate identity specialist hoping for logo work, because that is not what this job is. Don't apply if you are a general virtual assistant who also makes graphics on the side. And don't apply if you have never really worked with AI tools, because the whole role is built on top of them.

You do not need experience in the AI industry, you do not need to know how the models work internally, you do not need classical design training if your digital work is strong, and you do not need German.
