Google Business Profile (Google My Business) Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Google Business Profile (GBP) Specialist to create, optimize, manage, and maintain multiple Google Business Profiles across various service areas. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Google’s guidelines and a proven track record of successfully verifying and managing legitimate business locations.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize Google Business Profiles.
• Manage profile verification through Google’s approved verification methods.
• Prepare businesses for successful verification by ensuring compliance with Google’s policies.
• Optimize categories, services, descriptions, photos, products, and business attributes.
• Monitor profile health, suspensions, and reinstatement requests.
• Resolve duplicate listings and merge profiles when appropriate.
• Manage citations and ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistency.
• Improve local SEO rankings through ongoing optimization.
• Monitor reviews and develop review generation strategies.
• Track GBP Insights and prepare monthly performance reports.
• Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure accurate business information.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing Google Business Profiles.
• Strong knowledge of Google Business Profile guidelines and Local SEO.
• Experience with:

• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics
• Experience resolving suspensions and submitting reinstatement requests.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Local citation management.
• Local link building.
• Basic HTML and WordPress knowledge.
