Video Clipping & Google Drive Assistant — Simple Long-Term Work

Discovery Destination is a growing travel media company creating high-quality long-form travel videos.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented person to help organize our existing video library.

This is NOT a creative video editing position. The videos are already completely edited and approved.

Your job is simply to:

• Download a completed long-form video.
• Cut the video into individual destination segments.
• Do NOT change the video, audio, music, color, graphics, or editing.
• Export each segment while maintaining the original video quality, resolution, and frame rate.
• Give each file the correct destination name using our naming system.
• Upload each completed clip to the correct Google Drive folder.
• Double-check that every clip starts and ends at the correct location.
• Make sure no destinations are missing or incorrectly named.

For example, if we provide a completed video called “10 Best Places to Visit in France,” you would separate the finished video into 10 individual video files based on the 10 destinations covered.

The work is straightforward, but attention to detail is extremely important.

You may use Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut Desktop, LosslessCut, or another professional editing program. We care more about the quality and accuracy of the final files than which software you use.

Requirements:

• Reliable internet connection.
• Computer capable of handling long 4K video files.
• Sufficient storage space for large video files.
• Basic video editing knowledge.
• Experience exporting high-quality video.
• Familiarity with Google Drive.
• Good written English communication.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions exactly.
• Organized and reliable.
• No watermarks on exported videos.

This position will begin with a small paid test project.

If the work is accurate and you are a good fit, we currently have a large backlog of videos that need to be processed, with potentially 1,000+ individual destination clips to organize.

There is also potential for additional ongoing work with Discovery Destination as our video library continues to grow.

Compensation:

Starting rate: $0.25 USD per correctly completed destination clip.

Examples:

10 destinations = $2.50
25 destinations = $6.25
50 destinations = $12.50
75 destinations = $18.75
100 destinations = $25.00

This rate is for simple clipping, exporting, naming, and uploading only. No creative editing or footage sourcing is required.
