Certified Xactimate Level 3 Estimator (PE) — Roofing & Restoration — Full-Time, Remote

Pinnacle Restoration is a water and flood damage restoration company located in Las Vegas, NV. and Hawai'i. We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented estimator to join our team and help us deliver accurate, defensible estimates for our restoration and roofing projects.

About the Role

We're hiring a full-time remote estimator who is certified in Xactimate (Level 3) and holds a PE (Professional Engineer) license. You'll be responsible for building accurate property estimates for water/flood restoration jobs as well as roofing scopes on properties located in Hawaii, working closely with our project managers and adjusters to keep jobs moving and get claims approved without delay.

Responsibilities

• Build detailed, accurate Xactimate estimates for water/flood restoration, mitigation, and roofing projects
• Read roof measurement reports (EagleView/Hover) and satellite/aerial imagery to scope roof replacements and repairs
• Review scope of work, photos, and moisture readings to ensure estimates reflect actual job conditions
• Build clear, organized moisture logs from daily job-site photos and readings, turning raw field data into a coherent drying record
• Identify storm/wind/hail damage and code-required items to support full roof scope approval
• Reconcile estimates with insurance adjusters and negotiate line items as needed
• Use knowledge of policy language to justify scope and fight for full coverage on disputed items
• Adjust and supplement Xactimate pricing to reflect actual Hawaii material and labor costs, which run substantially higher than Xactimate's default price list
• Communicate with project managers to confirm scope before finalizing estimates
• Keep estimates organized and up to date throughout the life of each job
• Stay current on Xactimate pricing updates and industry standards
• Flag discrepancies or scope gaps before submission

Requirements

• Certified Xactimate Level 3 Estimator (required — please include certification proof)
• Licensed PE (Professional Engineer) — please include license number/State
• IICRC and/or Structural Drying certified (required — please include certification proof)
• Proven experience estimating water/flood/fire restoration projects
• Experience estimating residential roofing (replacement and repair) in Xactimate
• Experience estimating full rebuilds/reconstruction (framing, drywall, flooring, finishes) following mitigation
• Strong understanding of insurance claims and mitigation/reconstruction/roofing scope
• Solid grasp of insurance policy language, able to cite coverage terms and push back on adjusters to secure full, fair coverage
• Experience pricing jobs in Hawaii or other high-cost markets, and comfortable supplementing/justifying pricing above Xactimate's standard price list
• Persistent and confident — willing to dig in and argue a point with an adjuster when you know you're right, backed by research, to win full coverage and cost
• Excellent verbal & written English communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office setup
• Able to work during US business hours
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and follow-through

Preferred

• Experience working directly with US-based restoration or roofing companies
• Familiarity with EagleView/Hover roof reports and local building codes
• Experience communicating directly with insurance adjusters
