Video Editor (YouTube and Short Form)

Remote PH, Long-Term. Role: Edit 5-to-14 minute YouTube videos plus Shorts, Reels, TikToks. Add captions, motion graphics, sound, color, strong storytelling.

Hiring process.
Round 1, portfolio review.
Round 2, paid trial edit (same sample for all finalists). Compensation. Paid trial.
Then per project for approximately the first 30 days, payments after approved milestones.
After successful probation, transition to $350 per month, plus performance bonuses.
Approximate monthly scope is up to 4 YouTube videos (maximum 15 minutes each)
and up to 24 Shorts derived from long form.

Policies.
NO advances, two revision rounds, original work only.
Deliver project files, communicate any deadline issues early.

Start with future ready editor. Then include your resume, portfolio, three favorite projects, computer specs, internet test, software, expected monthly salary, weekly availability.

5. Rate your skills 1-to-10 in storytelling, motion graphics, color, audio, transitions, YouTube, shorts.
Will also require a 30-to-60-second screen recording of one of your edits explained.
