About GlobalFinX

GlobalFinX (GFX) is an accounting services and technology company serving US-based companies. Alongside our accounting services, we're building an AI-powered accounting platform designed to help CPA firms onboard and manage clients more efficiently. You'll be joining early and helping shape a product at the intersection of finance and modern web technology.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain features across the full stack (front end and back end) for our accounting platform
• Work hands-on with AI coding tools (Claude, Codex, and similar) to ship high-quality code faster
• Develop clean, responsive user interfaces and reliable server-side logic and APIs
• Integrate with databases and third-party services
• Collaborate with the team on architecture, code reviews, and product decisions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve performance and reliability

Requirements

• Proven full stack web development experience (front end + back end);
• 8+ Years of experience building web applications
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude and/or Codex in a real development workflow
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one back-end language/framework
• Experience working with databases and building/consuming APIs
• Good written and spoken English for team communication
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable work-from-home setup
• Able to work the required US Pacific Time hours (see below)

Nice to Have

• Experience building financial, accounting, fintech, or SaaS applications
• Familiarity with accounting concepts or working with CPA/finance teams
• Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD
• Mandarin/Chinese speaking a plus

Schedule

• US Pacific Time: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch)
• Philippines Time: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch)
• Starting at approximately 20 hours per week, with a clear path to 40 hours per week (full-time) soon

Compensation

• $10+ per hour (USD) to start, depending on experience
• Paid monthly, by the 5th day of each month
