About Arkero

Arkero is an Australian remote staffing company that evolved from Tradelance.

We connect Australian and New Zealand businesses with skilled professionals in the Philippines.

We are currently building the technology that will power Arkero, with a major focus on reducing the traditional staffing process from around three weeks to minutes through better talent assessment, scoring, matching and automation.

Australia and New Zealand are our launch markets, with plans to expand into 20+ countries over time.

Arkero sits between a technology company and a modern BPO/staffing business, and we are looking for someone to take ownership of the talent side.

The Role

We are looking for a Talent Manager with strong recruitment judgement, excellent organisation and a genuine interest in people.

Initially, much of our talent acquisition will be done manually.

You will source, interview, assess and onboard candidates while helping us build a high-quality Philippines talent pool.

But there is another important part of this role.

The information you collect will help our development team improve and train Arkero's AI talent assessment and matching systems.

That means we need someone who doesn't just say, "this is a good candidate."

We need someone who can clearly record why.

What You'll Do
Source, interview and assess candidates
Build and maintain our Philippines talent pool
Assess skills, experience, communication and role suitability
Keep accurate and structured candidate records
Record assessment scores, strengths, weaknesses and hiring decisions
Track salary expectations and availability
Provide useful talent data and feedback to our development team
Help develop the standards used by our AI assessment and matching systems
Support candidates through onboarding and placement
Keep the talent pool active, accurate and up to date
Who We're Looking For

You may have experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, staffing, BPO, HR or people operations.

We're looking for someone who:

Has recruitment or talent acquisition experience
Is confident conducting interviews
Has excellent written and spoken English
Has strong judgement when assessing people
Is extremely organised and detail focused
Keeps clean and accurate records
Understands the value of good data
Is comfortable with technology and AI
Can work independently and take ownership
Wants to help build something from an early stage

Experience with Philippines remote professionals or Australian/New Zealand clients would be highly regarded.
