The Role
We're looking for an AI Automation Engineer to build and maintain the AI-powered tooling that keeps our company and our clients moving fast. You'll design agents, wire up integrations between our systems (Slack, Google Workspace, OnlineJobs.ph, Wise, and more), and turn manual, repetitive processes into clean automations. This isn't a slow-drip maintenance role — you'll be shipping working tools in short, focused sprints, iterating quickly based on real usage.

You'll work closely with the founder and creative team to understand where time is being wasted, then build the automation that fixes it — from Claude Code skills to end-to-end workflows connecting multiple APIs and services.

What You'll Deliver (Outputs)

• Custom AI agents/workflows built and deployed for internal CLDM tools and client projects
• Automations connecting Claude, GPT, and other LLM APIs to internal systems (Slack, Google Workspace, OnlineJobs.ph, Wise, etc.)
• New Claude Code skills/tools built and documented for the CLDM WAT framework
• Internal scripts/dashboards that cut down manual, repetitive work across the agency
• Clear documentation for every automation/tool shipped
• Bug fixes and small improvements to existing AI-powered systems

Required Skills

• Solid Python (or Node.js/TypeScript) experience
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, etc.) and prompt engineering
• Experience building or maintaining AI agents, automations, or API integrations
• Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth
• Git/GitHub workflow proficiency
• Self-directed — comfortable working independently in a remote, async, part-time setup
• Must have your own active subscriptions to necessary AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, ChatGPT Plus/Pro, and other required paid services). CLDM does not provide or reimburse these subscriptions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, or similar agentic coding frameworks
• Experience with Google Workspace APIs (Sheets, Drive, Docs)
• Familiarity with browser automation (Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium)
• Experience with vector databases / RAG pipelines
• Background building tools for creative/marketing agencies
• Basic DevOps / CI/CD exposure
• Experience with security

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: PHP 180–200/hour (approx. PHP 15,600–17,300/month at 20 hrs/week)
• Type: Part Time
• Hours: 20 hours/week
• Time zones: Work spans PST and PhST — flexibility is key
• Applicant must maintain their own paid subscriptions for required AI tooling (Claude Code, ChatGPT, or equivalent)
