About the Role

Dimpey Studios is looking for an experienced B2B lead researcher to build highly qualified prospect lists for our sponsored animated content and custom-animation services.

Dimpey is an animated entertainment brand reaching millions of followers across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook , YouTube, and other platforms, with approximately 100M monthly views across our major channels.

This is not a generic lead-generation job.

We do not want lists of companies based only on industry, revenue, or employee count. Every company must be manually qualified based on whether it makes strategic sense for a social-first entertainment partnership.

Primary project

Research 300 highly qualified companies during the initial project:

Approximately 70% potential sponsored-content partners
Approximately 30% potential custom-animation clients

Accuracy and relevance matter significantly more than volume.

What makes a strong SPONSOR prospect:

A sponsor prospect should show evidence that the company values social media, content, brand awareness, storytelling, creator partnerships, or audience engagement.

Good signals include:

  • Active and professionally managed Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or other social accounts
  • Regular investment in organic social content
  • Previous influencer or creator partnerships
  • Previous sponsored social campaigns
  • Branded entertainment or humorous/creative advertising
  • Strong visual brand identity
  • Products/services that can naturally be incorporated into entertaining content
  • A marketing team that appears focused on brand awareness as well as measurable acquisition
  • Evidence of social-media, influencer, creator, partnerships, brand, or content marketing employees
  • The company appears interested in reaching large consumer audiences
  • A meaningful U.S. consumer customer base
  • Marketing campaigns designed to generate conversation, awareness, engagement, or cultural relevance

Companies we DO NOT want:

Do not include companies simply because they have money.

Avoid companies where there is strong evidence that:

  • Marketing is almost entirely direct-response/performance advertising
  • They appear to judge every campaign solely through immediate tracked ROAS or conversions
  • Their social accounts are abandoned or extremely weak
  • They have no evidence of investing in content, creators, brand marketing, or social media
  • Their product has little relevance to Dimpey’s audience
  • They sell almost exclusively B2B enterprise products with no meaningful consumer audience
  • They appear unlikely to value entertainment or brand exposure
  • There is no identifiable marketing decision-maker relevant to this type of partnership

A company can use performance marketing and still qualify. We simply do not want businesses whose entire marketing philosophy appears to be immediate direct-response ROI.

Target industries

Initial categories include:

  • Beauty
  • Hair
  • Personal care
  • Consumer apps and digital services (EXCLUDING AI)
  • Consumer healthcare / health education
  • Education and learning
  • Food and beverage
  • Fashion-adjacent consumer products
  • Tax / IRS services
  • Family / divorce law
  • Criminal defense

Additional consumer categories can be included if there is a strong strategic fit.

For every company, provide

  • Company name
  • Website
  • Industry
  • Company LinkedIn
  • Relevant social-media accounts
  • Estimated company size if available
  • Why this company is a strong fit for Dimpey
  • Evidence that the company invests in social/content/brand marketing
  • Examples of creator, influencer, social, or branded-content activity when available
  • 3 relevant decision-makers
  • Decision-maker title
  • Verified work email
  • LinkedIn profile
  • One useful personalized observation we could reference in outreach
  • Preferred decision-makers

Depending on company size, look for titles such as:

  • CMO
  • VP of Marketing
  • Head of Marketing
  • VP/Director of Brand Marketing
  • Head of Brand
  • Director of Social Media
  • Head of Social
  • Influencer Marketing Director/Manager
  • Creator Partnerships
  • Brand Partnerships
  • Content Marketing Director
  • Integrated Marketing
  • Growth/Marketing leader when they also oversee brand

Do not automatically select the CEO unless the company is small enough that the CEO likely makes marketing decisions.

Important qualification rule

Before adding a company to the list, you should be able to answer:

“What evidence suggests this company would value reaching a large social-media audience through entertaining branded content?”

If you cannot answer that question with specific evidence, do not add the company.

First milestone

Before completing the full list, deliver a sample of 20 companies.

We will review:

  • Company fit
  • Social-media/brand-marketing fit
  • Contact accuracy
  • Decision-maker quality
  • Email verification
  • Research quality
  • Personalization quality

Only after the sample is approved should the researcher continue building the larger list.

When applying, tell us:

  • Your experience researching B2B prospects
  • Whether you have researched influencer marketing, sponsorship, creative agency, or brand-marketing prospects before
  • What tools you use
  • How you verify email s
  • How you would determine whether a company values social media and brand marketing
  • Expected turnaround time
