Health & Safety App Setup – 2 Week Project

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety administrator or consultant to fully set up and configure our SiteSmart health and safety system for our flooring and construction business.

This is a short-term project expected to take approximately 2 weeks.

Scope of Work

You will be responsible for setting up the system so it is ready for use by our employees, contractors and project managers.

The work will include:

Set up staff and contractor profiles
Set up subcontractors and subcontractor compliance requirements
Add company vehicles, plant, tools and equipment
Create plant and equipment registers
Upload and organise equipment documentation
Create inspection and maintenance requirements
Upload and organise Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) for products and materials
Build our Health & Safety document library
Upload and organise company policies and procedures
Set up site-specific Health & Safety documentation
Set up inductions, toolbox meetings and forms
Build hazard and risk registers
Set up i ---------- and near-miss reporting
Set up training and competency records
Build contractor compliance requirements
Create subcontractor agreements and supporting documentation
Set up document expiry dates and compliance reminders where available
Review the completed system to ensure it is practical and easy for staff and contractors to use
Our Business

We are a New Zealand commercial flooring contractor working across:

Commercial flooring
Vinyl and carpet installation
Floor and wall tiling
Waterproofing
Floor preparation and screeding
Concrete grinding and polishing
Plant, machinery and construction equipment
Experience Required

Ideally you will have:

Experience setting up Health & Safety management systems
Experience with SiteSmart or similar construction H&S software
Knowledge of New Zealand construction Health & Safety requirements
Experience working with subcontractors
Experience preparing Health & Safety policies, forms and registers
Good understanding of SDS/MSDS documentation
Strong document management and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and complete the system within the agreed timeframe
Assistance connecting social media accounts

Experience in commercial construction, flooring or other subcontract trades would be an advantage.

Project Duration

Approximately 2 weeks

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the setup rather than simply upload documents. The objective is to have a complete, practical Health & Safety system that our staff and contractors can begin using immediately once the project is completed.
