Home Care Scheduler
Confidential employer
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, organized, and reliable Homecare Scheduler and Administrative Assistant to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the foundation of our daily operations, tasked with managing complex caregiver staffing requirements, meticulously maintaining client schedules, and ensuring the seamless execution of all home visits.
Key responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for confirming caregiver placements, resolving scheduling conflicts, and maintaining consistent communication between staff and clients. Given that our service quality relies upon reliable staffing, a fundamental requirement of this position is the ability to manage high-volume daily outreach. The successful candidate must be capable of consistently conducting a minimum of 80 non-duplicative calls per day to caregivers and clients to ensure optimal coverage, monitor visit status, and address immediate operational needs.
We are looking for someone who excels at multitasking in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. You will be responsible for updating our internal scheduling software in real-time, verifying shift completion, and documenting any discrepancies with precision. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, as you will frequently need to reassign staff on short notice while maintaining a calm and helpful demeanor.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and the resilience to manage high-frequency phone communication with professionalism and empathy. Candidates should have prior experience in administrative support or scheduling—preferably within the healthcare or homecare sector—and demonstrate proficiency in accurate data management and Microsoft Office Suite. You must be comfortable working in a remote setting while maintaining accountability and meeting strict daily performance metrics. We invite proactive, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments to apply and contribute to our commitment to providing consistent, high-quality care to our clients. Please include a brief cover letter detailing your previous experience with high-volume outbound calling or scheduling coordination.
