About the Role
We’re an Australian photography education and software business looking for a creative, highly detail-oriented VA to take ownership of our weekly podcast production and social media content.
This is a production role, not a marketing strategy role. We create the ideas and messaging. You help turn them into polished, professional content and get it published.
What you'll be doing
Podcast Production
- Edit one weekly podcast
- Clean up mistakes, filler words and pauses while keeping the conversation sounding natural
- Add supplied intros, outros and promotional ads
- Quality-check the entire finished episode
- Prepare show notes, timestamps, links and uploads
- Create Reels/clips, thumbnails and supporting graphics
- Create blog & email copy and schedule through GHL
Social Media
- Create Reels, carousels and graphics using Canva
- Work with our extensive library of professional photography
- Repurpose podcast and other supplied content
- Schedule approved content across Instagram and Facebook
- Help maintain our monthly content calendar
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent English comprehension
- Has strong podcast/video editing skills
- Has excellent Canva skills and a strong visual eye
- Understands Instagram and Facebook content
- Has exceptional attention to detail
- Uses AI to assist their work, but always personally quality-checks the result
- Follows a brief carefully
- Is comfortable asking questions rather than guessing
- Is organised, reliable and able to work independently
- Can manage workload to meet KPIs and priorities
We're a small, friendly team and are looking for someone who wants a long-term role and the opportunity to grow with us.
Initially approximately 20 hours per week, with potential to increase.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a small practical test.
