About the Role

$175/month | Part-Time | Long-Term
What this job actually is:
I have two editors producing daily video content for a wellness brand — one handling TikTok, one handling Instagram and YouTube. What I need is someone to sit in the middle and keep everything moving: track what each editor owes and when, follow up if something’s running late, bring finished videos to me for approval, then get everything scheduled and posted across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook , Pinterest, and YouTube.
This is a light coordination role, not a content creation role. You won’t be editing videos, writing scripts, or coming up with ideas. No new or separate content will ever be created for Pinterest or YouTube — those platforms will simply reuse the exact same videos already made for TikTok and Instagram, repurposed and reposted as-is.
What you’ll do:

  • Keep track of what both editors are working on and when it’s due, and follow up directly with them if something’s behind schedule
  • Bring finished, edited videos to me for approval before anything goes live
  • Once approved, schedule and post content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook , Pinterest, and YouTube on a consistent daily cadence
  • Repurpose the same finished TikTok/Instagram videos for Pinterest and YouTube — no new edits needed, just reformatting/reposting as required by each platform
  • Use Later (or a comparable scheduling tool — tell me if you have a strong preference and why) to queue content in advance
  • Make small cosmetic edits before posting: writing/adjusting captions, adding relevant hashtags, adjusting text overlays already on the video
  • Light photo touch-up when needed — occasionally smoothing skin/minor retouching on my face using Facetune (I’ll provide app access). This is minor and infrequent, not a heavy editing ask
  • Keep a simple, organized system so I always know what’s scheduled, what’s posted, and what’s pending my approval or overdue from either editor

What I need from you:

  • Comfortable following up with other tea ---------- mbers directly — this role requires light but real accountability, checking in on deadlines without me having to ask
  • Experience with a scheduling tool (Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar) — tell me which ones you’ve used
  • Comfortable writing clean captions and researching relevant hashtags
  • Basic comfort with Facetune or similar retouching apps
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with a daily posting cadence
  • Clear, proactive communicator — you’ll be coordinating with two other editors and reporting directly to me

To apply, answer this: If I send you 14 approved videos on a Sunday and want them spread across 5 platforms all week, how would you organize that? And separately — if one of the editors is running behind on Tuesday’s video, what would you do?
Process:

  • I’ll follow up with next steps for anyone who’s a strong fit

If you’re someone who likes systems, consistency, and keeping people on track without needing to be micromanaged yourself, I’d love to hear from you.????????????????
